Welcome to Kid's Kourt LLC!! We offer quality childcare and preschool programs at affordable prices. Established in 1993 as a group childcare home, Kid's Kourt began as a way to use my degree and stay home with my young daughter. In January 2001 we moved to a commercial building and became a licensed childcare center. In 2006 we moved to our current location and became Kid's Kourt LLC. We are open year round from 5:30 am to 6:00 pm. Programs are available for all children age birth through 5th grade. Part time children are always welcome. We are a registered vendor with the State of Michigan and DHS childcare payments are accepted.
OUR PROGRAMS
Infant/Toddler care (birth to 30 months)
Infant and toddler care is customized based on the individual needs of the children enrolled at any one time. Infants eat and sleep on demand and are cared for based on their individual needs. The toddler program offers children lots of opportunities to grow and learn through daily games, stories and songs. Sensory exploration, motor development, and learning language skills are stressed through a variety of daily activities.
Preschool Childcare (30 months to age 4)
Our preschool classroom follows a curriculum based on weekly and monthly themes. Daily activities include circle time and center activities, as well as small groups, free choice, and motor skill building activities. This classroom focuses on learning social skills, counting, developing language, reading and math skills, and fostering a positive self image.
Kindergarten Preparation (4 and 5 year olds)
Our kindergarten prep classroom is a more structured preschool experience that is similar to a young 5's or kindergarten classroom. Math, reading, writing and science skills are included daily as well as all aspects of the regular preschool classroom.
CHILDREN MAY ENROLL INTO THE PRECHOOL OR KINDERGARTEN PREP CLASSROOM FOR PRESCHOOL ONLY FROM 9:30 to 12:30
School Age Childcare
Care for school age children is available before and after school hours and on non school days and snow days. We currently transport children to and from Peach Plains, Griffin, Ferry and Mary A White (am only) elementary schools. Harbor Transit is able to transport children to Grand Haven Christian, St Johns Lutheran, WMAAA, and Mary A White (pm)
